The number 14 on Jazz is a reference to his catalog number from the diaclone release, no malarkey involved and was likely changed to avoid licensing costs (like with earthrise wheeljack and smokescreen). Has nothing to do with racism and anyone looking for that to be the reason is stretching at best.
