    • Yoshi, I have just one question for you, putting the first comment on your own show… W. T. F.? 😛

        • You know, I can just edit and delete all the comments I want and wipe you out of existence… 😛

          • Just look at You. So sleek. So powerful. So… beautiful, like some great god made flesh navigating, with root access, our wordpress website. Of course, any sensible god would demand absolute obedience in return for his favor. But, no, Big C protects us and our website comments, with no strings attached. His fans who leave comments? Hmph. They practically worship you. Enjoy your reign while you may, Big C. For surely as night follows day, there comes a time when even gods must die.

          • Well, I’m comfortable with the analogy that I’m Superman and you’re Lex Luthor. 😀

    I…
    FLIPPIN…
    KNEW …
    IT!!!!
history does indeed repeat itself!!..oh well I’ll down load it tonight for next week!!!
I did listen to the mini show ,not bad… different… but not bad…how did i make it first hear for me being this late!?

  2. Thunderwing doesn’t play well with others? He was the leader who ordered Bludgeon and the Mayhem Attack Squad into action. It makes complete sense. Perhaps this is Bludgeon’s attempt to resurrect his old leader after his death in the Marvel comics, but giving each member of the squad a bit of his old leader, and making a powerful body for him as their combined form?

Also, nice information on the Titan Wars leaks. I have to wonder if maybe your source saw an uncolored test shot of the Headmaster Soundwave head, which is why he thought it was SG colors. SG Soundwave was basically white.

Defender was not “hot garbage”. Seeing as how it was Fansproject’s like 3rd figure (I’m only guessing, but in pretty close), it opened the door. Nice die cast, only thing it suffered from was in the heel support department. If not for Defender, which worked out the triple changing nightmare, you probably would not have seen the Generations Springer.

    • Defender was their first full figure, and it sold out multiple times, and it still sells for quite a bit on ebay. I think FansProject made it’s money back. Yes, Hasbro came alone YEARS LATER and made a nice (if somewhat hollow) Springer too, on it’s courth attempt to make Sprinfer. About time.

      • I think Munitioner and Exploerer came before Defender

        • Nope, you were correct. Defender was released March 10 and the Crossfire figures were April 10

          • I remember when Warbot Defender was first announced, I didn’t believe it was a full size complete figure, and some of us online tried to figure out if maybe it was an upgrade set using some existing parts from Hasbro toy. Like maybe the arms were from Classic Grimlock, etc. It was a great surprise that someone made a FULL FIGURE. Up until then we only had upgrade kits, the Smallest Dinobots and some resin model kits. The idea that someone made a complete figure was amazing.

  5. Okay, you guys mostly failed my question about repaints for the FansProject Function X line. So here are my answers:

    Hardhead – Tankor
Mindwipe – Senator Ratbat (you got that one right!)
Weirdwolf – Beast Was Second Max B, with the head painted like Beast Wars Second Hellscream.
    Highbrow – Animated Megatron
    Snapdragon – Beast Wars Megatron
Apeface – Beast Wars Optimus Primal

What the inferno is going on with Yoshi and Big c!!?

  7. And to answer the new Fembot remold/repaint the only suggestion I could make would be Black Arachnia into Airrachnid

  8. This was seriously one of the funniest episodes yet. John Paul is hilarious! I hope he´ll come on the show again in the future.

Like you guys, I also signed the UK poll, even thought I don´t live there. I told Hasbro that the main reason for me to buy 3rd party figures, is to get new, better figures of characters that they haven´t put out yet. For example, I recently bought X-Transbots´ Hoss figure, their version of Road Ranger from the Gobots (sorry Yoshi). Road Ranger was one of my favorite figures as a kid, but Hasbro doesn’t put out any Gobots, even though they own the rights to the characters (because bandai still holds the rights to the molds/designs). If Hasbro hade done a masterpiece or even generations version of Road Ranger, I would have gotten that.

Finally, as a reaction to your feedback section, I would just like to say that it’s the chemistry between you guys that makes the podcast fun. Of course everyone has their own field of expertise and there are dozens of people out there who know a lot about Transformers, maybe even more that you guys, but I like this podcast, because of the vibe and Yoshi’s humor is defintely a big part of that. Cheers!

  9. I believe Takara released a statement regarding MP Ironhide, which I will now “quote directly” here >Hey, at least this Ironhide HAS face. You’re welcome.
But seriously, when is the Ratchet coming out?

I’ve been thinking that Ironhide should be a pickup truck like Movieverse or Combiner Wars. As it seems more in keeping with the character we know, rather than the windowless van.

  10. Great to hear from the legendary JPB again. Love listening to him. Whenever I see he is on the show I know it is going to be a great one.

But I mostly I want to say about the TFCC Set. I do like the idea for them and I really like the reuse of the Rook mold for the Impactor figure. Though I will agree the price is too high for my blood. Though I wonder something to Charles and Jeremy. If you have a TFCC membership do you get any discounts? I have been contemplating getting a membership for a good while now. and these might push me to that if I can get them a bit discounted and all. Though I can’t say definite or not, though I do want the Lio Convoy repaint of Orion Pax.

  11. I’m relaying a question from Basilisk from the TFW2005 boards – “I want to hear more about the space shuttle and if he’s going to be retooled into Astrotrain.”
