  1. There is something so sexy about the way Jeremy says “Support” at the beginning of each show.

  2. Dual mirrored gridwork

Maybe…did not hear it this morning at 3 am,missed you guys!

  3. Dual mirrored gridwork

Warming up the car taking friends and family and getting on my way, becuse today’s the day called “free comic book day”!
Taking my friend Mike, the wife, and the little gridlet too and drive past the mall, the plan is gonna hit up two stores and double my haul!
Get to the store and pick up my pull, don’t tell me your out becuse that’s some bull!
I’ll be pissed and I’ll have to grind my ax, becuse I’m here for me and my fellow tf fan, Mr dino max!
Take every one home, let the gridlet will watch “lady and the tramp”,and yes the other store “don’t put on that stamp!”
I’m making my plans for next year right away, maybe 3 or 4 stores for the run on “free comic book day”!

    Happy hunting/reading everybody!

  5. I think you guys are misrepresenting that BotCon Oilmaster toy. It’s not a new toy. It’s just the Generations Swerve and Flanker toy, with a large custom accessory (the shell). That’s how FunPub was probably able to get Hasbro to sign off on it. It’s still a Hasbro mold with one large new add-on. If you look closely you might even notice that the weapons for the Pretender shell are Transformers Construct-Bot weapons. It’s a nice figure, and I’m looking to get it, but I don’t think it qualifies as a completely new figure.

Did you guys notice that Oilmaster has already appeared in several comic books? Last year’s Botcon comic and the ehobby Magnificus comic, for instance.

Oh, I notice that the gorilla Pretender prototype they showed off back years ago came in two colors. I wonder if the other deco will end up being another FunPub exclusive, maybe SG Oilmaster or something. It was a grey gorilla with red armor. http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/thumb/8/82/DoublePretenders2.png/658px-DoublePretenders2.png

If you go back to the original SG comic teaser, it had Starscream appearing in the Pretender manufacturing facility, and one of the shells being manufactured was a gorilla shaped shell. So there is justification for a SG Oilmaster character.

  6. I just got to say guys it is sad to hear a show with one of the number is missing. And with Big C missing for not 1 but 2 …. I am heart broken!!! But still a great show guys!!!
I do want to thank you guys for the shout out about the help for a couple of copies of the FCBD Transformers book. I believe DMG and Gabe have me covered. Though I will admit I want a few copies 1 maybe 2 for my own collection and at least 2 for my girls. Considering how they destroy books you can understand why. And NO THEY DON’T MESS WITH MY MASSIVE TF COMIC COLLECTION , before any of you start to worry.
Which I do want to make the suggestion again about making a extra show! One for toys and one for comics if you were so inclined to want to try that. I am sure us Transcievers or for some Transmissionaries. Would be more than willing to assist in this. I know am free whenever you might need a guest host or for lack of a better term a last minute help for a show. Just ask and I am there.

  7. Hey guy like always really enjoyed the podcast.

One correction…Micheal was right that the Takara Arms Microns Breakdown was repainted as Autobot Swerve. All 3 repaints where for the Japanese market.

I have no issues with Hasbro repainting Windblade a few times. It’s the business model they’re running so it’s not surprising.

Reprolabels are awesome and I highly recommend them to anyone that hasn’t bought them…my next order will likely be $90-100 worth. It adds up quickly.

FREE comic book day. I went to my first FCBD and it was pretty nice. Got myself the TF RID comic and a huge pack of bag and boards. Any tips for re bagging and boarding older comics from the 90’s?

    Bag of bots…..
    Fansproject Madlaw
    Fansproject Volar
X2Toys Rotor and Forrow with bonus Voltron limb
    CW Leader Megatron
CW Motormater, breakdown, Dead end, Off Road, air raid….

Ya huge week and I totally kick everyones ass this week…..LOL next week, nothing.

    That’s how it goes.

    • Rob, I don’t know what kind of tips you are looking for when it comes to bagging and boarding older comics. I guess for basics…. Wash your hands. Go slow. This is not a task to do after having drank a pot of coffee.

  8. Have you guys ever done a “best of the vault” edition of Trips to the Store?

I’d be very interested to see what you guys have stashed away…

    • That’s a rather interesting idea. I know I’ve personal picked up items over the last two years that for one reason or another I’ve never shown during the trips to the store segment. I am sure there are a few of you out their in internet land who would get a kick out of seeing these items.

I also have no doubt that Jeremy, Darryl, and Big C have things that will make my “Best of the Vault” items look corny at best.

  9. Dual mirrored gridwork

Best of the vault…hmmm I kinda/sorta like the ring of that….but will that being out the heavy hitters someone may have off the bat since it the best of,maybe “trips to the vault”,”unlock the vault” “autobots archives”,”Cybertronian safe”,maybe “collection perspective”…..to suggest a few.ill give it some thought over the next few days.
