I like the design of the Toyworld Corelock D-03 even if the neck is a bit long in alt mode. But I think I will wait until all the Dinobots are released before putting money down on any of them.
“Everyone Hates Yoshi!!!” When I first saw this I was like WTF????? Who can hate the almighty “Rubber Tires Yoshi”??
But I so want to ask you guys about the 2nd wave of the Deluxe Class Combiner Wars figures. What I want to ask is WTF?? is up with the comics??? I mean the comics that come with them are Breakdown “RID # 13″ , Off Road ” RID # 14 ” , Air Raid ” RID # 15 ” , and Dead End ” RID # 16″. I mean seriously??? These are way back in the series??? Before Dark Cybertron even. I would have thought they be newer issues or something. I mean I can understand that the CW series is just starting in the books but still…..
Lastly I want to ask about you guys thoughts on the Transformers Battle Tactics Game? Have you been playing it???? And if so what you think???

Wildrider/Breakneck is a recolor of Dead End with a new head, not Breakdown, Charles. I knew who you meant, it’s easy to get these limb names mixed up. If Sky Dive and Air Raid weren’t split between waves, I’d never be able to remember who was who. Well, maybe. I’m better at names now than when I was 5 or 6!
I wanted to chime in on the blue Bluestreak. It was a no-brainer for me, I plopped down a preorder on TFSource as soon as I saw it. I’m sure by now we’ve all heard the news that the 2000 piece limit was a rumor, because it seems all the regular retailers seem to have plenty. So yay! Anyway, my story stems from waaaaaaaaaaay back in 1984. Bluestreak was one of my very first transformers, but the weird thing was, the toy was silver and red and black, but on the package and in the catalog, he was blue and silver, and by golly HIS NAME HAD BLUE IN IT. I never understood it, but I always wanted one of the blue ones. For some reason, for as long as I can remember, the image of that blue diaclone car filled me with insane amounts of nostalgia. Almost as much, if not more, than the Takara Bookstyle Reissue Prowl I once had, with all the chromey, original sized projectiles that spit in the face of American toy safety laws. HA!
Anyway, looks like I’m getting a 3rd MP Datsun. Open your damn Prowl, Charles!

Thanks for noting the CGC/AFA grading thing. I’m a toy guy so I forget about the difference. I have no graded figures or comics for the reason you stated it just cost to much to have done.
Darryl it was awesome to see your daughter using those stickers and her imagination to make something. Thank you for posting the video…sometimes we as adults can get carried away and forget that most of this stuff is geared for kids.
Mega Epic news drop for me…Peter Cullen is coming the Calgary Comic Expo. I got my tickets the minute they went for sale. I can’t make TFCON so the 3 hour drive is nothing to meet the voice of a generation. I’m not a start struck person but I just can’t let this slip through my hands. I’m struggling on what to have signed. The TF Vault Book or my SDCC Matix Prime Optimus Prime. Charles suggested the Vault and I’m starting to lean that way.
OH and MP-18B doesn’t appear to be limited to the North American Market. My understanding of the 2000 limit was for the Tomy Mall (whatever that is) in Japan. That all said….there was no wholesale offering for that figure that I could get anyways.
Now that MP Exhaust has doubled its retail price it looks like a great call on keeping my preorder. That said I’ve been hearing TFSource is still planning on honouring the preorders through. Only time till tell though as they still don’t have them in hand.
Quick Question. Darryl why do you opt to qoute BBTS for pricing all the time? Talk about free advertising. I suspect I know the answer already, but I’m curious.

“Yoshihama” is a brand of tire I madeup/coined the term after you (after your love of rubber tires,of course),there is a real life brand of tire called “Yokohama”,you may know of this already …the name sorta reminded me/made me think of of you…
